Independence Cemetery
Independence Cemetery has the proud heritage and charm of a country cemetery with the burials of several generations of hardworking families.
The 65-acre Independence Cemetery was incorporated into a nonprofit organization in 1886. On January 1, 1988, the cemetery management and operation became a division of non-profit Highland Cemetery, Inc., in Fort Mitchell. In the spring of 1996, Independence Cemetery bought the adjacent 64-acre farmland, doubling the cemetery's acreage.

Independence Cemetery is located on Madison Pike, which divides our cemetery into two sections. A simple white fence brings unity and warmth to our property.

We are very proud of the improvements that we have been able to make since January 1988.
Our office hours are 8am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday, and 9am to Noon on Saturday.
